How can I get the best from my TravelSim card?

VERY IMPORTANT

All your UK contact numbers must be prefixed with +44 or 0044 on your Travel SIM card for it to work. Make a note of your phone number, PIN and PIN unlock code (PUK) for future reference.

Getting Started

Insert TravelSim card into your UNLOCKED mobile phone
Switch on your phone
Enter your PIN
Make your calls

Making Calls

You must have credit on your account to make calls
ALWAYS dial numbers using the full international dialling code (even if dialling in country or within the UK) e.g. +44 7924 xxxxxxx (some phones may not need the + before the country code). Do not include any preceding zeros in the area code E.G. to call a London number dial +44207 xxxxxxx NOT +440207
After dialling the number, there will be a short pause as the service rings you back to connect your call. You simply answer the call in the normal manner and wait to be connected. IGNORE ANY MESSAGES THAT THE PHONE MAY DISPLAY DURING THIS PROCESS. THIS IS NORMAL OPERATION.
If you experience a call not being connected please retry or wait a couple of minutes then try again. This could be due to signal strength, volume of calls via the switch or adverse weather conditions.

Receiving Calls

Your TravelSim number is a UK based (Isle of Man) number. ie 07924 xxxxxxxxx

To dial you from Within the UK
Simply dial the mobile number ie 07924 xxxxxx
To dial you from outside the UK
You MUST dial using the International dialling code for UK ie +44 7924 xxxxxxx

24/7 Top Up

IMPORTANT: For immediate notification of your Top Up Code(s) you must click the "Return to TravelSim" button to return to this site once you have made your payment. Enter the code into your Travelsim phone and send. Your credit will be topped up automatically.

Text Messaging

TravelSim supports standard text messaging (SMS) for incoming and outgoing messages. Keep messages to 160 characters or less.

Due to the global nature of our Sim card all text are priced in US Dollars and converted to GBP using mid markets rates. As a guide to send a text to the UK from Europe $0.67, Middle East $0.60, Australasia $0.71, Hong Kong & China $0.56, USA $0.84

Using Voicemail

Dial:	121	Access messages (plays in order of last received)
	122	Turns voicemail on
	122xx	Sets the time interval before voicemail starts ie 12235 sets the voicemail to start if there is no answer after 35 seconds
	123	Turn off voice mail
	124	Checks settings (indicates your voicemail settings)

How can I copy my contacts to the Travel SIM card?

Ask your local mobile shop they may be able to download your contacts onto a computer and add +44 or 0044 for UK mobile numbers to each number before transferring to your TravelSim card or purchase a USB sim editor & back up or similar for around £9 from http://www.gadgetsquick.co.uk

In which mobile can I use my TravelSim card?

Simply replace your regular mobile SIM with our TravelSim card in your main mobile.
